Built in the 1920s with an interesting history, Ducklands is now, after renovation, a practical and stylish holiday home with stunning coastal views from both the garden and the house. The property is set back from the Coast Road up a small lane. There is a large gravel drive with parking for 4 cars. The space You enter the property into the hallway which leads to the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with large windows overlooking the marshes to the sea. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with larder fridge, dishwasher and range cooker. There is a dining table which easily seats six and a sitting area with comfortable sofas, TV with freesat and a log burner (very welcome after an evening stroll to the beach or up to the beautiful Salthouse Heath). There is a second sitting room, overlooking the garden, with sofa, desk and shelves filled with books and games. At the end of the hall is the utility room with washing machine and fridge freezer. There is also a door to the shower room and a stable door to the driveway. The master bedroom, with its en suite bathroom is on the ground floor. Two further bedrooms are on the first floor. A good sized double and a twin. There is also a family bathroom, with a separate shower, on this floor. In front of the house is a large lawn (great for children) and a patio with garden furniture for 6. Again the views are wonderful. There are steps with a handrail to the drive. Salthouse is a picturesque coastal village. A few minutes walk from Ducklands is Salthouse Stores, a well stocked and welcoming shop, including coffee. In another minute you will reach The Dun Cow Pub, highly rated for its food and atmosphere. Within a 3 mile radius are the attractive coastal villages of Blakeney, Cley and Weybourne and the Georgian town of Holt.
