Maple Cottage

Come and relax at the Maple Cottage located just a few blocks from beautiful Lake Chetek. Conveniently located within walking distance to some of Barron County's best coffee shops, bakeries and ice cream. This small town has many shops of interest including antique, boutique and sporting stores - not to mention all the favorite places to eat! Cozy up on the couch in front of the fireplace, or enjoy the hammock lounge under the maple in the private back yard. The space Our home is one of the many cottages in Chetek built during the depression. As you enter, the kitchen and dining area will be on your right. This was the size of the original home! It has since been added on to many times. Our house has one bedroom with a queen bed and a walk-in closet. We also have a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room with curtains for privacy. There is a full bath next to the bedroom. Though our home is small, it offers a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. If you are here for work, we have a desk in the living room, or if you're just wanting to relax- enjoy the fireplace. There are books on the book cases just waiting for their pages to be turned and games to be played! We have a private fenced in backyard. Relax in the hammock lounge under the maple tree or sit by the fire. Guest access Guests can use the entire home. Host has part of the closet for supplies.
