The Stables

Looking for a place to unwind and enjoy sweeping rural views? Come and stay at The Stables, and relax in this warm, light and comfortable home. Situated on a small sheep farm in the foothills of Mount Buninyong, only 5 minutes to the beautiful historic village of Buninyong, and 20 minutes to the centre of Ballarat. Featuring: - Open plan kitchen / living space. -Outdoor Eating Area including fire pit, BBQ and stunning views. -Electric Vehicle Charging. -Large Function / Play space The space The Stables originally housed the farms 13 draught horses, it is now been restored to provide warm, comfortable accommodation. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and ensuite, the second with a queen bed, set of bunks with trundle and an ensuite. Along with the original stone walls, the double glazed windows, wood stove, electric blankets and bedroom heating and fans all promise a comfortable place to rest and recharge at anytime of the year. The large function is available with a separate booking (please contact us to discuss your needs). There are walks on the property and in the local area without getting in your car. The Buninyong winery and pizza restaurant, Blueberry farm, Micro bakery and Mt Buninyong crater walk are all a five minute drive. Sovereign Hill, Lake Wendouree, and central Balllarat all within 10-15 minutes drive. Guest access Your booking provides you with access to the number of bedrooms (including ensuite) booked, kitchen, living / dining room, laundry / toilet and outdoor eating space (bbq and fire pit). Only guests who have booked the accommodation should be on site unless otherwise arranged with the owners. Function space is available on arrangement.
