Welcome to a newly-renovated and stylish guest house in the heart of Sala – just a 5-minute walk from the city center, train station and close to Sala Silver Mine. Here you live quietly but centrally, with your own entrance, full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and a lush garden. The cottage has two bedrooms, a modern bathroom with shower, as well as a living room with dining area. Perfect for couples, families or business travelers. Linens, towels and coffee/tea are included – you just need to check in and enjoy. The space The cozy guest house is 65 sqm (incl. sloping ceiling). Downstairs, there is a double bed. Upstairs, there are a total of 4 single beds, of which two are in the sleeping loft, a kitchen for cooking and a modern bathroom with shower. Kitchen/dining room and bathroom have waterborne underfloor heating. The entire guest house is available and includes: - Free WiFi - Bedlinen and towels are provided - Complimentary toiletries - Complimentary coffee and tea - Free parking on the street - Basic cooking accessories such as spices and oil. In the kitchen, there is a microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, oven, cutting boards, knives, most things you may need. Limited height: Please note that the sleeping loft has limited ceiling height. Digital passcode: To access the guest house, you will receive a digital code after booking. This is valid from the check-in day at 4 pm to 11 am on the check-out day. Thus, there is no requirement for check-in, but you are welcome anytime you want. Air conditioning: Please be aware that this historic building does not have air conditioning. Rules (see full rules under "House Rules"): - Do not bring in extra guests except for confirmed guests in the booking and from our side expressly approved additional guests in the communication. Ask if in doubt. - If any extra guests are seen entering, we will cancel the booking without refund as it is strictly against our house rules. - With respect to neighbors: Consider the volume in late evenings and mornings. - No smoking at all - NOT EVEN by the door. Smoking will be penalized with a fine of SEK 2000. - No pets allowed. Other things to note The city of Sala has a very picturesque and cozy city center, built according to all the wisdom of the Renaissance. Here you will find small and medium-sized local shops that offer most things between heaven and earth - everything from clothes, jewelry, gifts, toys, technology - yes, most things you can think of. But perhaps best known for its Silver Mine. Some restaurants we recommend when visiting Sala are: Mat och Prat, Höga Grader and Måns Ols.
