With enough desk space in the living rooms and bedrooms to work without any disturbance, besides the incessant chirping of the birds. Dedicated fulltime cook/helper to assist the guests during their stay at the Villa. Shambhal Luxury Homestay boasts of the best views and biggest rooms and open areas in Bhimtal. The guests will have access to the entire cottage besides the storage areas and staff quarters. The guests can even request to access the laundry room if required, however the staff will be happy to help the guests with their laundry. Extra Laundry charges apply. Other things to note Shambhal began as a family retreat in the hills, a peaceful summer getaway. Over time, we nurtured the land, planting over 200 fruit and indigenous trees, transforming it into our own serene sanctuary. In 2019, we decided to share this special place with guests, opening our doors to those seeking tranquility and connection with nature. When we first saw the land where our house now stands, we were captivated by the stunning view of Bhimtal Lake from such a height. We knew we had to bring that beauty indoors. To achieve this, we installed large windows on the entire wall facing the lake, ensuring an uninterrupted view of the serene waters. Even the kitchen was designed as an open space, so the view would never be compromised. Our goal was to create a space where every corner of the house invites natural light, allowing you to read a book without needing to turn on the lights during the day. We wanted to embrace the beauty of nature rather than work against it. Whether from the rooms, gardens, or terraces, every view reminds us to appreciate the magnificence of the hills. It’s a sight that constantly takes our breath away—no matter the time of day or season. We’ve witnessed countless sunrises, and can you believe it? We even enjoy moonrises from our terrace—a truly magical sight. Thanks to the warm response from our guests and our shared love for the hills, we expanded Shambhal, adding new features and amenities to enhance comfort and create an even more memorable experience.
