5280 House: Bikers Welcome!

*We have a LIVE-IN host, living on the property. This unique storefront space, located on Main Street in Lead, SD, was built in 1903 to house the first Ford dealership in the state. Over the years, it has served various purposes, including a pizza joint, an insurance/real estate agency, and a hair salon, before converting it into a residence in 1997. While our home has a "vintage" charm, we work hard to keep it clean and comfortable. The space Mike, our LIVE-IN host, has spent most of his life in this town, working in the gold mine. He’s a fantastic resource for recommendations on local activities, connecting with the community, and navigating the area. While Mike is knowledgeable and always eager to help, he may not be available before or after check-in hours. Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. If Mike is unavailable or it’s after 7:00 PM, please reach out to us through Airbnb. We exclusively rent to one group at a time and never accommodate multiple groups simultaneously. Upstairs features a 2,800 square foot space: - Furnished living room - 6 bedrooms, (see pictures and descriptions) - 1 half-bathroom - Fully-equipped kitchen - Large dining table. Downstairs is a 2,800 square foot oversized basement/garage. -Enclosed to store motorcycles, side-by-sides and snowmobiles. -Service Garage equipped with Tools and a Motorcycle Lift for repairs. -Game Room includes Ping Pong, Darts, Hatchet Throwing(plastic) & Giant Jenga -Three Showers -Three Toilets -Laundry Disclaimer: The downstairs is set up like a man cave with a bar, girlie pictures (not nude) on the ceiling and some spicy writing on the wall. This may be considered an adult only area. Sorry no pets Please note that parties and events are not permitted. Guest access Guest have access to the entire house except for Mike, our host's bedroom and bathroom. Other things to note We also have a pig roaster that can cook a 200-pound pig, a large charcoal grill and extra refrigerators to store your food. We have parking inside for your motorcycles, snowmobiles and 4x4's. We can even park a couple of cars inside.
