Small wooden house (classified 4* furnished tourist accommodation) in the heart of the vineyard in the village of Scherwiller with a view of the Chateau de l'Ortenbourg and direct access to the vineyards via a path that starts in front of the house. Its location is ideal for touring our beautiful region and enjoying, among other things, the Christmas markets but also Europapark... Tastefully decorated, very well-equipped, quiet. We'll be happy to host you at Chez Camillou (a nod to our daughter Camille) The space In a wooden frame, this gîte has a private parking space, a covered terrace and a garden that will be fenced in January 2026. Living room/cathedral living room with open kitchen, a bedroom with 160 x 200 bed and closets, a shower room with toilet as well as a mezzanine accessible by a fairly steep staircase (therefore not suitable for small children) which has 2 beds in 90 x 200 (mezzanine open to the living room). Reversible air conditioning, underfloor heating in the living room, electric shutters (except triangle windows that do not have shutters and therefore no complete darkness in the mezzanine). Wi-Fi, bed and bath linens provided, beds made. The village of Scherwiller is very well located due to its central position between Colmar and Strasbourg. Ideal for enjoying the area. By car: 20 minutes from Colmar and 45 minutes from Strasbourg, Europapark amusement park is 45 minutes away. Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr and Obernai are about 25 minutes away…. By train: the town has a train station with a train that runs along the Wine Route, this line goes from Sélestat to Strasbourg via Obernai. You also have Selestat station 7 minutes away which offers 3 trains per hour to reach Strasbourg in 19 minutes and Colmar in 10 minutes. Very convenient for visiting the Christmas markets…. (free parking at Selestat station).
