We can communication in both English and Vietnamese. . We are located in the valley at 14 km (a 40-minute drive) from downtown Sapa. Our home is in the Red Dao ethnic village of Giang Ta Chai Dao, a genuine and peaceful village nestled away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by beautiful rice terraces, nature, mountains, and bamboo forests. Enjoy a journey that connects you with nature and the local community! An immersive, enriching, and truly authentic adventure! 🤩 . The savoury breakfast consists of eggs + vegetables + rice, or fried rice, or fried noodles. The sweet option is delicious banana pancakes. All breakfasts come with coffee or tea and fresh fruits. . The 1-Day tour requires good physical fitness because of the tighter schedule, while the 2-Day tour offers a more leisurely pace. This last option also gives you the chance to witness the stunning sunset and/or sunrise. Please ensure that FANSIPAN Trekking Tours are booked by 3:00 PM (15H00) the day before your trek. ## RED DAO HERBAL BATH . Experience a unique and healing herbal bath that only Red Dao people have the secret 🥰. Our tribe specializes in medicinal herbs, and our bath features a harmonious blend of over 15 varieties of medicinal plants, leaves, and wood sourced directly from the forest by ourself. Benefits include recovery of strength, fighting colds, detoxifying skin pores and promoting restful sleep. Traditionally, we prepare the bath to be quite hot to enhance circulation, but feel free to adjust the temperature by adding cold water for a more comfortable experience. Relax, unwind, and immerse yourself in the divine aroma. It's a true delight for both the body and mind! We like to say you'll be twice as young, five times stronger, and ten times smarter after your bath, although we can't guarantee those results. 😋 Are you ready to give a try? 😁 Please book your bath at least three hours in advance. This allows us time to boil and properly infuse the medicinal herbs over a wood fire, ensuring the highest quality for you! Since the bath takes place at our homestay, you can soak for as long as you desire. If it gets too hot, feel free to take a break, sip some tea, and return as often as you like. We provide plenty of extra hot herbal water to keep your bath warm. The longer you stay, the happier we are! 😁 There are two types of bathtubs available. > The traditional round wooden bathtub: - Price per person: 170.000 VND ($7 USD / €6 EUR) - Kid aged 12 years and under: 120.000 VND ($5 USD / €4 EUR) > The deluxe long wooden bathtub: - Price for 1 person or for 2 kids: 220.000 VND ($8,5 USD / €7,5 EUR) The deluxe option is more comfortable for taller individuals and can accommodate two children. It is priced higher because it requires us to prepare twice the amount of herbal water. ## LAUNDRY, to stay clean and fresh! > Washing machine: 30.000 VND ($1,5 USD / € 1 EUR) per cycle. Heavenly smelling detergent and fabric softener provided. 😉😍 > Dryer: 30.000 VND ($1,5 USD / € 1 EUR) per cycle. ## TAXIS . The last two kilometers to our homestay can be quite challenging and require highly skilled drivers. The best is that we book the taxi for you. We work with experienced taxi drivers who are well-acquainted with navigating the road to our location. Please note that the prices will be higher than those you may find on apps like Grab or Xanh SM, as they are fixed by the taxi drivers. You will pay them directly. We have no commission. > Sapa Downtown ↔ Our Homestay (14 km, 40 minutes): 350.000 VND / $13,5 USD / €12 EUR per way > Lao Cai Train Station ↔ Our Homestay (44 km, 1,5 hours): 750.000 VND / $29 USD / €25 EUR per way > You can also rent a private taxi (with skilled driver) for the day to explore Sapa: - 5-seat taxi: 1.600.000 VND ($62 USD / €54 EUR) one day - 7-seat taxi: 1.900.000 VND ($73 USD / €64 EUR) one day . All around Sapa town, feel free to use Grab or Xanh SM apps. However, for transportation to and from our homestay, please use our recommended taxi drivers. ## USEFUL INFORMATION . Check-in time starts at 1:00 PM (13H00). However, you are welcome to arrive earlier! If your room is available, you can enjoy it right away. If not, a bathroom will be available for your convenience. Feel free to embark on a trekking or motorbike tour, or simply unwind in a hammock and soak in the beauty of our surroundings! . With the exception of the FANSIPAN Trekking Tours, all other tours and activities can be booked on the morning of the day you wish to participate! We offer great flexibility, allowing you to decide based on the weather and your mood! . You will settle all expenses for meals, drinks, and activities at the end of your stay.
