Blackwood River Art Studio

Enjoy watching the sun and moon rise over the Blackwood River from a fully-appointed studio designed to inspire creativity. The studio has a spacious living and kitchen area, one bedroom, a luxurious bathroom, an art and writing workspace, as well as lots of books and local art for you to enjoy. Just across the road, the Blackwood River provides the perfect place for a morning walk along the flora trail, a SUP or kayak, or a coffee overlooking the water. The kitchen is fully-equipped. There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and a luxurious bath. In the entry way, there is a workspace which you may enjoy using for your own art or writing projects. Please feel free to add to the paint palette! The river and boat ramp are just across the road, and you're more than welcome to borrow a kayak while you're here. Augusta town is a short walk away, and it's a 5 minute drive to swim at Flinders Bay or catch a wave at the rivermouth. Friendly pets considered - must get on with other dogs.
