This is an old traditional house at the foot of Mt. Ishizuchi. Surrounded by an unbelievably beautiful blue river and lush forests, you can enjoy your stay without worrying about your surroundings. This is a place where you can make memories. Enjoy outdoor activities such as climbing Mt. Ishizuchi and playing in the river, and relax as if you were at home. The space This is a private rental traditional house with a maximum capacity of 19 people, limited to one group per day. It features a large room for gatherings, a garden, and a special Goemon bath, all surrounded by nature. It's a place where everyone can make memories. Nearby are the Kamo River, which boasts outstanding transparency, and Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest peak in Western Japan. Enjoy the outdoors and return to the old house for the best healing time. Please relax and enjoy. Check-in time is from 3 pm and Check-out time is before 11 am. The staff is at the nearby Ishizuchi Fureai no Sato, so please come to Fureai no Sato (1-25-1 Nakasako, Nishijo-shi) to pick up the key at check-in. After that, the staff will also accompany you to the accommodation and show you around the facility. Please return the key to Fureai no Sato when you check out. We would love to hear about your stay. There are no residents in the neighborhood. Please have a relaxing time in nature. In principle, you will cook your own meals. You can cook in the kitchen inside the house. The self-catering facility is a large kitchen that can accommodate large groups. It is fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. We always provide salt, pepper, oil, and soy sauce. You can BBQ in the yard. We can provide BBQ utensils and consumables such as BBQ stoves and charcoal in a set, so please let me know in advance if you'd like to use them. You only need to bring food and drinks, and for 3,000 yen per set, up to about 10 people can BBQ without any problems. The staff will explain how to light and clean up on the day. You can also order the ingredient set at Ishikui Fureai no Sato. Fireworks can only be hand-held in the garden or at the Yamanooka Station parking lot. Please refrain from using fireworks such as fountains, launchers, and rockets. You can draw hot water from the faucet in the Goemon bath, or you can boil it with firewood. Please let us know at check-in if you would like to use firewood. Guest access This is a private rental type accommodation and the entire building is available for your use. However, there is a restricted area that is used for some warehouse storage. There is a sign, so please do not enter beyond it. Other things to note The property is located in a mountainous area, so it is in a special warning area for landslides. Please be aware of the alerts and warnings in Saijo City (Ohba district). The temporary evacuation center is located at the reception's Ishikura Fureai no Sato. Please make sure you check the evacuation information yourself each time and fully understand the risk of being in a danger zone before booking. Because it is a natural environment, insects may be present. We take as many precautions as possible and conduct regular inspections, but please note that they may occur. If you don't want to encounter any bugs at all, we can't recommend staying. We can tell you how to handle it and where it is less likely to occur at check-in. If you encounter bugs during your stay, please use the insect control products provided. It is very cold in winter. We have air conditioning, a kerosene heater, and a kotatsu for indoor heating, but old houses have a lot of gaps and are difficult to keep warm, so please prepare for it to be colder than your home.
