The Victorian Room is our 1st floor and fully handicap accessible guest room. A ramp to the front door and wide doorways for guests using a wheelchair! There is a Roku TV in the room and one in the main livingroom. The inn is a short walk to town. Exterior will be getting a face lift. We can't wait to polish it up and bring back its natural beauty it so deserves. Exquisite interior with all its original wood work, high ceilings and pocket doors. The space This wonderful home carries a great welcome home feel to it. Large spacious rooms for gathering. A total of 6 guest rooms are pzrt of the main house. As a separate space there is a third floor innkeepers quarters. It is a full one bedroom apartment with kitchen, full bath, laundry that can be rented separately. This Inn is a remarkable structure with details of original moldings, hardwood floors, pocket doors and various other nuances of its time. It has been brought up to date with all the amenities of todays modern world but carries an incredible timeless old world charm of historical appeal. Guest access We provide a handicap accessible ramp to front door. First floor Victorian Room is designed handicap accessible. Only when booking the entire Inn will there be allowed use of the kitchen and laundry facilities. If the booking is for a single guest room .... all guests will have access and full welcome use of the sitting parlor, living room, dining room and wrap around front porch. Livingroom, dining room and parlor are common areas that are comfortable and spacious and open for your use and comfort. During your stay I always make it a point to meet you as you arrive. I want you to feel at home at the Inn. I can give some direction on your stay, where to find things, fill you in on some activities, restaurants and shows in the area. However, if for one reason or another I am not there when you arrive, please text or call me on my cell phone which will be posted inside the vestibule. My intention is to give you your own space and be available only as you choose. If you are booking the entire house with all rooms I leave you to your privacy but always available by phone. I am usually nearby. Other things to note There is a 3rd floor apartment offers one bedroom, kitchen, full bath, laundry and private separate entrance. It is known as the 'Top of the Inn" or Innkeepers Quarters. This is designed for the business traveler or those who need a space for more than a few nights. This space is ideal for extended stays, temporary residence, trainees and interim situations . Walking distance to many businesses including the Glens Falls Hospital, Theatres, Travelers, Cool Insurance Arena and a number of various event and work places.
