Green Tree Cottage: Rural serenity near town

Enjoy quality time relaxing with family and friends at Green Tree Cottage, a 2-bedroom house nestled on a gorgeous 25-acre property just 5 minutes from Mudgee town. Enjoy a BBQ dinner under fairy lights and a game of pool in the adjacent al fresco area then gather around the fire pit with firewood supplied to marvel at the Mudgee night sky. Or relax on the front verandah with a glass of wine, watching the resident kangaroos graze the paddocks. This is rural living close to town and wineries. The space Sleep comfortably in one of 2 bedrooms, each with a quality queen bed with luxurious hotel linen, plush carpet, ceiling fan plus electric blanket and warm feather doonas to keep you cosy in Winter. On request we also have available an extra single bed mattress for a 5th guest. Relax in the living room on plush leather sofas with a board game, book or watch TV with satellite television and access to streaming services. We have unlimited Starlink internet and good mobile phone reception. The fully equipped kitchen is all set for you to cook up a storm, with a full-sized fridge, electric oven and cooktop, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother, plus kettle and toaster. Enjoy your meal at the 6-seater table in the dining room, or if you prefer, BBQ your meal in the adjacent al fresco area and follow with a game of pool. After dinner, gather around the fire pit with complimentary firewood supplied and enjoy the spectacular Mudgee night sky. Green Tree Cottage has a washing machine and dryer available for your use in the laundry. The bathroom has a shower and vanity with a separate toilet. We have a portacot with fitted sheet and a high chair available for your use at no extra charge though please let us know if you would like to use them and we will have them ready for you. We are more than happy to organise a grazing platter which can be in the fridge ready for your arrival, and we have plenty of recommendations for wine tours who will collect you from Green Tree Cottage for a day of indulgence. Guest access Green Tree Cottage is located on a 25 acre property which it shares with one other house (Lazy Frog Lodge), which is approximately 300m away. During your stay, you will have sole use of the cottage and firepit, and are most welcome to enjoy the paddocks and surrounding bushland. Other things to note You are welcome to bring your dog, however please let us know beforehand. Green Tree Cottage is not fenced, though is a fair way from the nearest quiet road. We just ask that you don’t allow your dog onto furniture, and that you dispose of all dog excrement in the bins please. There are 2 dams on the 25 acre property, which are not suitable for swimming.
