It is your safe haven in Bologna, where you can let your dreams land and build new ones. We are committed to sustainability and invite all our guests to join us on this journey. The space Casa DiMondi is a guest house just outside the historic center of Bologna, in a quiet and green area of the city overlooking the park of Villa Spada and near the famous Portico di San Luca, which boasts the distinction of being the longest in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021. An excellent starting point for walkers on the Via degli Dei, who can find the same values here that underpin slow and sustainable tourism. The neighborhood is located outside the Limited Traffic Zone (therefore easily accessible by car) and is home to numerous shops and restaurants (bars, restaurants, shops, etc.). With a pleasant 20-minute walk under the portico you can reach the beating heart of Bologna, otherwise 150 meters from the house there are bus stops (line 20 to reach the city center, line 58 to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca, located in a panoramic position on top of a hill). We are close to the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium, the Teatro delle Celebrazioni, the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Chemistry, the Ospedale Maggiore and Palazzo Albergati. The area is served by public transport and is well positioned both with respect to the airport (8 km) and the train station (4 km) and for those arriving by car from the highway. Guest access At Casa DiMondi you will find two double bedrooms with private ensuite bathroom (room 1 "Cielo" and room 2 "Senape") and a twin room with two single beds and private bathroom outside the room (room 3 "Salvia"). Each room has: air conditioning and heating, fiber wifi connection, mini fridge, desk, clothes rack, hairdryer, sheets, towel set and toiletries (organic shampoo and bath foam), view of the greenery. The rooms are also designed to accommodate tourists on workation, as they are equipped with all the comforts useful for carrying out smart working. Free access to the common area with an equipped kitchen and a panoramic balcony where you can enjoy a breakfast or an aperitif overlooking the hills of Bologna. Kitchen equipment: induction hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine with compostable pods, toaster, kettle, pots, cups, glasses and wine glasses, various utensils. There are smoke detectors, a combustible gas detector and a fire extinguisher in the accommodation. Elevator (measures 128x60); to reach the elevator access there are some steps. During your stay I will do my best to welcome you in person, but in any case, check-in is guaranteed 24 hours a day thanks to automatic access with a code, for maximum autonomy. I will be sure to provide you with all the details for access. I have prepared a "To do list" with all the best that Bologna has to offer, so that you can have a true local experience! Other things to note BEFORE ARRIVAL Simplify check-in and write me your estimated arrival time (e.g. flight/train details). Give me your mobile number. Why? I will activate the possibility of opening the condominium door with the phone number you indicated, so you can use your mobile phone to access the accommodation. ARRIVAL IN BOLOGNA Write to me at least 1 hour before your arrival at Casa DiMondi. I will do my best to meet you in person and welcome you at the entrance of the accommodation, but if this is not possible, I will send you the self check-in procedure via text message, which is quick and easy! CHECK-IN from 3:00 p.m. CHECK OUT by 11:00 a.m. NOTE - ACCOMMODATION TAX: The Municipality of Bologna obliges hosts to collect and pay accommodation taxes (tax charged to those who stay in the accommodation facilities of the municipal territory). Rates: the cost varies between €5.80 and €7 per person per night, depending on the reservation (up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights).
