A small cabin in the woods

This is a tiny cabin in the middle of Pokljuka woods. It is ideal for anyone seeking peace and a connection with nature. On the ground floor, there is a small bathroom and a living area with a kitchen and access to the garden. Upstairs, reached by very steep stairs, is a bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. The space Cabin Veselka is located in the heart of the Pokljuka forests. Access to the cabin is via an asphalt road. You can park in front of the gate, but during winter, we recommend parking on the other side of the road as a precaution to avoid snow falling onto your car from the neighbor's roof. The cabin has a large outdoor area, and in good weather, you can use the outdoor gas stove and gas grill. The cabin has a small bathroom on the ground floor with a shower, sink, and toilet. Both the bathroom and the shower are quite narrow. The main area consists of a living room with a fireplace and a kitchen. You are welcome to use the fireplace, but it is important to follow the instructions provided in the cabin. Getting Here The cabin is easily accessible via an asphalt road. You can park directly in front of the gate, but during winter, we recommend parking across the road to avoid snow sliding off the neighbor’s roof. Outdoor Space The cabin is surrounded by a spacious outdoor area where you can relax and soak in the tranquility of the forest. On sunny days, you’re welcome to use the gas stove and gas grill for an open-air cooking experience. Cozy Living Area The heart of the cabin is its warm and inviting living room with a fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings. You're welcome to use the fireplace—just be sure to follow the simple instructions provided in the cabin. Bathroom The cabin has a small bathroom on the ground floor with a shower, sink, and toilet. Please note that both the shower and the space itself are quite compact. Stay Connected (or Unplug) Wi-Fi is available, though it may be unstable at times due to the remote location. The TV runs on an internet connection, so if the signal is weak, you can enjoy a selection of DVDs provided in the cabin. Well-Equipped Kitchen The kitchen includes all the essentials, along with an induction cooktop and a small electric oven, so you can easily prepare your favorite meals. Bedroom Loft Upstairs, you'll find a cozy sleeping area with a double bed and two single beds—a perfect setup for families or small groups. Please note that the stairs are quite steep, so take care when going up and down. Sustainable Water System The cabin operates on a rainwater collection system with a 3m³ capacity. The water is filtered and purified with UV light; however, we recommend using bottled water for drinking. If the water runs low, we’ll arrange for a refill as soon as possible.
