Please read the property details for more information. The space The Cabin Porąbka has just been freshly renovated (2024) and is now ready to offer you an unforgettable escape. Nestled deep in the heart of a serene forest, our location is a peaceful haven far from the noise of city life—a true outdoor retreat surrounded by nature. You'll be renting a spacious 200 sqm cabin spread across two floors. Upstairs: The first floor features two cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to offer a restful stay. The master bedroom boasts a super king-sized bed crafted from Austrian beech wood, elegantly upholstered in Italian linen/cotton dyed with natural hues. The medium-firm pocket-sprung mattress ensures a peaceful sleep. The second bedroom, with a comfortable double bed, also features a fireplace for a warm, intimate atmosphere. Both rooms are outfitted with luxurious bedding—duvets and wool pillows made from award-winning British wool and soft cotton sheets. Blackout curtains ensure you can enjoy the forest's tranquility without any interruptions. To complement the natural surroundings, 100% wool carpets from Belgium add an extra touch of coziness. Upstairs we also offer a workspace with a German-made adjustable desk and high-speed Starlink internet. Downstairs: On the ground floor, you'll find a spacious living area perfect for relaxation. Lounge on a plush wool sofa while enjoying the breathtaking mountain views through the sliding glass doors. In the evening, snuggle up with a Pendleton wool blanket beside the new British made Charnwood wood burner, or enjoy a movie on the cozy sofa. The bespoke wooden kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, with a unique stone worktop sourced from Patagonia. Whether you're craving coffee, tea, or a snack, we’ve stocked the cupboards with a few delightful treats for you to enjoy. Our dining area features a beautifully restored original timber floor, ready to serve for another 150 years and vintage tiled wood burner,. The centerpiece is a stunning 2.5-meter American walnut dining table, a design classic from Denmark, accompanied by six Vitra Eames dining chairs. The room is softly illuminated by three exquisite British-made ceramic drop pendants from Original BTC, adding a warm and inviting atmosphere. To unwind, settle onto the vintage Danish design sofa from the 1960s. This iconic piece, passed down from previous cabin owners, has been lovingly restored with new Kvadrat Hallingdal 65 upholstery, matching the original fabric perfectly. It’s incredibly comfortable! The Bathroom: One of the most dramatic transformations in the cabin is the bathroom. It features heated floors and sleek, minimalistic finishes, with the highlight being a stunning shower from the Spanish family-owned brand, GRB Mixers. Exterior: The exterior of the cabin has been upgraded with premium larch cladding and triple glazing throughout, the cabin retains its heritage and charm, as we have worked tirelessly to embrace traditional craft, through the use of solid timber building techniques as well as some very unique insulation methods, special to the mountain region. Internally we have added specialty Norwegian electric radiators that are available to supplement the heat from the three wood burners. Outdoor Space: While the outdoor space is still a work in progress, it’s perfectly functional for now. If you’re serious about relaxation, you’ll love the Snow Peak outdoor chairs and two large, comfortable Fatboy bean bags. These are perfect for kicking back and enjoying the peace and beauty of the surroundings. Access: Don’t worry if you don’t have a 4x4 vehicle! We offer a free 4x4 taxi ride for you and your luggage when you arrive and leave. Because we're in a remote forest area, a 4x4 is needed to drive the forest roads. If you don’t have one, we can arrange a ride for an additional fee. You can drive up to the start of the forest road, and we’ll take you the rest of the way (about 15 minutes uphill, 10 minutes downhill, depending on the weather). If you prefer, you can also hike to the cabin (about 45 minutes uphill, depending on your fitness), and enjoy a quicker 25-30 minute walk back down. Water Supply: Since we’re tucked away in the forest, we’ve installed a 10,000-liter rainwater harvesting system, complete with a full filtration system, ensuring you always have access to fresh, clean water. Special Offer: We’re currently offering a special rate while we add the finishing touches to the cabin—inside and out. While there are a few minor details left to complete, this won’t affect your experience of this beautiful and unique natural retreat.
