Behind the house, sheltered from view, is your own private spa with an XL hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. You decide for yourselves when it's time for the sauna, when you'll go out into the garden barefoot with a coffee in the morning, or when you'll get into the warm hot tub again in the evening. A HOUSE THAT WAS CONCEIVED DIFFERENTLY I myself come from Rothenburg ob der Tauber, but I have also lived in Mallorca – and it was precisely these two worlds that I wanted to bring together here: the nature and history of my homeland with the laid-back lifestyle of the South. About two years ago, I had the little house extensively renovated with a lot of love. Not based on the idea of "What does a vacation home need?", but rather: How would I myself want to spend a vacation? Professionally, I work intensively on cell health, regeneration, epigenetics and healthy living. That's why, for me, the concept doesn't stop at a nice sofa and a hot tub. Natural materials, sleep quality, light, peace, warmth and coolness, Wi-Fi that can be switched off, and mains power switches in the sleeping areas were all deliberately taken into account. DEEP SLEEP For me, the night is also part of the wellness concept. That's why, at TauberChalet, you'll find, among other things, natural materials, blackout options, metal-free sleeping systems, shielded wiring, mains disconnect switches in the sleeping areas, and Wi-Fi that you can turn off completely if you wish. You will sleep in: 1 bedroom on the ground floor: 180 × 200 cm 1 bedroom on the second floor: 160 × 200 cm 2 cozy berths: 90 × 180 cm each plus an optional sofa bed. FEEL-GOOD KITCHEN & SLOW MORNINGS The TauberChalet is a fully equipped self-catering house. The kitchen, with its natural stone and solid wood, is made for long breakfasts and evenings spent cooking together. Starter coffee, organic herbal tea, high-quality olive oil, fleur de sel, pepper and selected spices are already waiting for you. Because maybe the greatest luxury is sometimes just that: not having an appointment in the morning. NATURE AT YOUR DOORSTEP. ROTHENBURG WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. You don't have to choose between nature and Rothenburg! The house is quietly located on the Tauber on a small lane with only a few houses. Walking paths, hiking trails and nature trails along the Tauber and Schandtauber start right outside the door. And yet, after just a 10-minute walk, you'll be in the middle of the historic old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber – with restaurants, cafés, small shops and everything Rothenburg is known for. Afterwards, you simply head back home. To your garden. To your sauna. To your hot tub. Birdsong. The sound of the stream. Away from the hustle and bustle. ALSO DESIGNED WITH LITTLE GUESTS IN MIND The TauberChalet is a designer wellness house – and yet a place where families can arrive completely relaxed. As a mom myself, I know how much easier a vacation is when you don't have to bring half the house with you. That's why many of the things families need are already waiting for you. Outside, there is a large BERG trampoline, a sandbox and a handcart – and right outside the front door, nature awaits for you to explore, walk and set off on adventures. In the house, you will find stair gates, toys and practical family essentials. Our two small cozy nooks, each measuring 90 × 180 cm, are particularly popular with children – almost like their own little hideaway for sleeping. And while the children are playing in the garden or sleeping in the evening, perhaps the best part begins for the grown-ups: Sauna. Hot tub. A glass of wine. And no one has to go anywhere else. This is a family vacation at the TauberChalet: Space for children. Relaxation for parents. And still beautiful. Shortly before your arrival, you will receive an email with the pin code for the keypad at the front door.
