The old Lavau farmhouse

We are pleased to share with you this house, which we have renovated and furnished, with our hands and with love. Ideally located less than 2 hours from Paris, 10 minutes from the historic center of Saint Fargeau and its Château, 15 minutes from Lac du Bourdon, Parc du Boutissaint and Parc du Bois de la Folie, but also less than 20 minutes from Saint Sauveur en Puisaye and the Maison de Colette and Château de Guédélon! The space The house is 170 m2 in all, on 3 levels. The garden is about 200 m2 and is still in the making. The house is particularly quiet and bright, without any neighbors, and very pleasant to stay in. Its beautiful living space, illuminated by many windows and French windows, gives it all its charm. Not to mention its nice view of the Church of Lavau. You will find a large dining table, a seating area, a spacious kitchen with a breakfast bar and everything you need to cook. Upstairs, three bedrooms, one master bedroom, and 2 bedrooms fully modular according to needs), as well as a library (also in the making) You will enjoy a bathroom with an authentic cast iron bathtub "Pieds de Lion" on the ground floor, bright and quiet and a shower room, all in Tadelakt, upstairs. We would like to point out that we are renovating this house in our free time and that we still have finishing work to do, moreover, we are not professionals in this field and some of our finishes leave something to be desired. We'll catch up on all these details in the future. 🙂 We also want to warn our future guests that we are not a hotel or a cottage, we also live in this house, so we put at your disposal, the full comfort of an occupied house, which implies that we keep a shelf of the refrigerator for our personal consumption. However, if you are interested in something in our compartment, feel free to ask if you can take it! You will also find in the bathrooms, shampoo and shower gel, which you can use. If you would like to go on bike rides, we provide 4 adult and 2 child bicycles. Guest access Access is very simple because it is autonomous. A lockbox containing the house key is installed on the gate. We'll send you the code at the end of the booking. Other things to note Not being able to stay there as often as we would like, we still want this house to stay alive. We therefore decided to offer it for short-term rental. The profits generated by the rental will also allow us to invest in the renovation of the house, garden and barn.
