In Paradiso you will find everything that makes a vacation spot a favorite place. Our fantastically beautiful, freshly restored 60s bungalow is elegantly and comfortably furnished. It is ideally suited for the art-loving group of friends. For families, it's the perfect place to relax and play – with plenty of space to retreat. It offers top-notch amenities, a natural pool, a water lily pond, and designer furniture. Located 2 km away from the center of Worpswede. The space The larger residential unit is 142 sqm. It consists of a large bedroom with built-in closets and direct access to the fenced terrace and bathing pond as well as three smaller bedrooms. One of these has two single box spring beds and the other two have cozy sofa beds that can be converted into double beds if needed. In addition, the unit has a large, open, fully equipped kitchen with adjoining dining area and a spacious living area with fireplace, TV, various music players, board games and access to another fenced terrace and garden with water lily pond. You have the choice between a bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and skylight or a smaller shower room, also with a skylight. In the large hallway in front of the bedrooms there are more seating areas, the small "children's library" and the piano. From November 2025, we offer our guests the opportunity to use a barrel sauna in the garden. (Electricity costs are billed separately). Next to it is the smaller apartment: with its 50 sqm, open kitchen, sleeping and living area, it is a large, bright, cozy space. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed. The shower room with a compact washing machine has a window to the courtyard. You can reach this residential unit via its own entrance directly from the carport. It has its own garden with a covered terrace that can be opened to the garden of the large unit. The smaller apartment is perfect for 2 and can be added for groups of 7 or more by arrangement. There is a lockable bicycle shelter on the property. Amenities So that you can start your vacation immediately after your arrival, a basic set of supplies awaits you in both apartments with a little coffee, espresso, tea, olive oil, vinegar, spices and drinks. In the bathrooms there is of course a hairdryer, sufficient towels and a basic set of personal care products. On the various terraces and in the secluded garden areas, cozy outdoor furniture with seat cushions awaits. Deer, storks and of course hares are just as much a part of the picture here as the famous Worpsweder sky with its cloud formations and its infinite expanse. This is the sky that has led several generations of artists to find their home here or at least spend their summer holidays: Paula Modersohn-Becker, Heinrich Vogeler, Rainer Maria Rilke and Bernhard Hoetger are some of the representatives of the Worpswede artists' colony who have made our village famous all over the world. To this day, they are present in Worpswede's numerous museums and galleries. Our lively village with its art and culture, great gastronomy, the Hamme, our bathing and canoeing river in the Teufelsmoor nature reserve, as well as Bremen with its urban flair offer our guests a colorful program for every taste.
