The space Located in a small clearing within Françoise and Frédéric's equine therapy centre, your Homnest hosts, the refuge offers all the amenities you need in a perfectly optimised 5 square metres spread over two levels: ✓ AMENITIES ❀ On the first level: • Lounge/relaxation/dining area with table and stools • Crockery • Small sink • Insulated cooler • Gas stove (for reheating food, not for cooking meals in the accommodation) • Gas stove heating • Eco-friendly toilet (dry toilet) • Drinking water via an 8-litre fountain • Soap, towels and bed linen provided • Cleaning included • Free parking On the second level (accessed via a small ladder): • Sleeping area: 140x190 cm double bed (2 adults) • Panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the large windows • Fans to keep you cool (no air conditioning) • Bed made on arrival • Raised terrace surrounding the accommodation • Outdoor furniture: table and chairs (except during winter) ✓ Key box available in case of late arrival ✓ Check-in: from 4 p.m. ✓ Check-out: before 10 a.m. 𖠜 HEATING: • Thanks to its powerful stove, your refuge becomes a real cosy cocoon, even when the cold winter temperatures are raging outside. In just a few minutes, a cosy warmth spreads throughout the lodge. A soft and comforting atmosphere, perfect for settling down with a book by the fire or simply contemplating the soft orange flames. ❆ FAN (but no air conditioning) • A ceiling fan will keep you cool in bed during the summer. 𖣔 SHOWER/WC AREA • Private outdoor summer shower with hot water • The outdoor shower is only open during the summer season, from approximately 1 April to approximately 30 October (dates may be brought forward or postponed depending on the weather) Current status of the shower: CLOSED When the shower is closed, a small indoor washbasin allows you to wash briefly with gloves, soap and cold water. Eco-friendly shower gel and towels are provided 𖣔 FOOD AND DRINK: Your hosts offer an aperitif platter with local charcuterie and cheeses (€15 per person) for an additional charge. Available from Thursday evening to Sunday evening only, reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. ✓ GOOD TO KNOW: The refuge is located in the countryside and is completely self-sufficient, with electricity generated by solar panels and gas heating. You will enjoy all the usual comforts, but the idea of alternative living is also to raise awareness of its impact on the environment! Therefore, a few rules apply during your stay: 1) Except for telephones and laptops, do not plug in any electrical appliances other than those provided on site, as this may damage the solar system. It is therefore not possible to use, for example, your hairdryer, hair straightener or raclette machine. 2) As the risk of fire is very high in the wilderness, smoking is strictly prohibited in and around the refuge, as is lighting any flames (no barbecues). 3) Wastewater is filtered by plants: you are asked to use only the 100% natural products provided. 4) Animals are not allowed in the refuge. Guest access . ✓ Check-in: from 4 p.m. ✓ Check-out: before 10 a.m. ✓ Key box available in case of late arrival ✓ Free parking is available near the refuge Free parking is available approximately 100 metres from the refuge, at the entrance to the meadow. To reach the refuge, you will need to walk across the meadow. Please wear suitable footwear, especially in wet weather. Other things to note The refuge is located in a small clearing on Françoise and Frédéric's animal therapy (equine mediation) centre. Depending on the time of year, horses may be your neighbours during your stay, just a few metres from the accommodation. A fence separates you from these peaceful animals, of course. Cleaning is included in the price of your stay. There is no Wi-Fi in the accommodation. Due to its unusual layout and access route, the accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM). ✵ WITH HOMNEST, you can immerse yourself in a world of extraordinary adventures!
