This light and airy detached bungalow is in an ideal location for exploring the beauty of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast and Countryside, just a mile from the magical village of Thorpeness and the picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh. This holiday home is spacious and beautifully furnished and equipped for five guests with a sociable open-plan living space opening into the garden for the best indoor/outdoor living, three bedrooms (super king, double and single) and two bath/shower rooms. The space You’re welcomed into the massive living space which has been cleverly designed with a cosy area by the TV, a dining table with six chairs, and a stylish and well-equipped kitchen. Sliding doors open into the large conservatory – the best place to curl up with a good book or simply soak up the sun and birdsong. A striking pine saddletree in the hallway gives plenty of hanging space for coats and a door leads to an inner hall with access to the three bedrooms and bathrooms. KITCHEN This bespoke kitchen is equipped with a double electric oven with four ring induction hob and an extractor above; a large fridge freezer with six shelves and a veg drawer in the fridge, three drawers in the freezer; a Delonghi Magnifica coffee machine (please bring your own coffee beans - you will be provided with enough for your first morning); a microwave, kettle and a four-slice toaster; a slimline dishwasher; and a Bosch Maxx 6 washing machine. A heated drying rack can be found in the hall cupboard. MAIN BEDROOM WITH EN-SUITE Wake to the birdsong in this beautiful bedroom with double doors opening to the garden – the ideal spot for your morning coffee! The bed is a super-king zip and link bed (it will be made as a super king unless you request twin beds) with bedside drawers, a chest of drawers and a hanging rail. BATHROOM The bath has both fixed and hand-held shower heads and a shower screen. There’s the essential WC wash basin with storage beneath the window, heated towel rail (towels are provided for all guests), and natural light DOUBLE BEDROOM The magnificent four-poster bed takes pride of place here between bedside tables with a wardrobe area. SINGLE BEDROOM A generous single with a sturdy bed, bedside table, a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe area with a shelf so you can unpack and settle in. SHOWER ROOM Conveniently located for guests in the single and double rooms and fitted with a large cubicle with rain and hand-held shower heads, a wash basin and storage, a WC and a heated towel rail OUTSIDE This excellent holiday home is set back from a busy, well-connected road with a turning circle on the drive where there is ample space for three cars. The gorgeous big garden at the back has pretty flower beds and is surrounded by well-established trees (including an abundance of fruit trees – apple, pear, fig, cherry and plum) and bushes giving a high level of privacy and some shade, with sunny patios for sun lovers! You’ll find a dining table, parasol and chairs for outside dining and a selection of benches so you can completely relax and throw your cares to the wind in this wonderful place. Other things to note Whilst this property is a bungalow and reasonably well suited to guests with mobility issues, please be aware that it does have a gravel drive, there’s very little room to move in the shower room and a small lip on the shower tray. One dog is welcome, if you would like to bring two small dogs please contact us and we will check with the owner, two labs or bigger will not be allowed though.
