The area offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, whether you prefer action-packed experiences or relaxing days in nature. Activities throughout the year: Hiking and cycling – A varied network of marked hiking trails and mountain trails provides great opportunities for both short and long trips on foot or by bike. Cross-country skiing – Right outside the cabin door you will find well-prepared ski slopes that extend far into the mountains, with the possibility of trips all the way to Beitostølen. Alpine skiing – Valdres Alpine Center is only 500 meters away and offers varied slopes for both beginners and experienced skiers. Fishing – Several mountain lakes in the surrounding area provide great opportunities for fishing, whether you prefer ice fishing in winter or a quiet summer evening by the water's edge. Golf – One of the country's most beautiful golf courses is only 8 km away, idyllically located by the lake and known for its scenic location. In winter you can enjoy a good lunch with something good in the glass at Koja Panorama, located at the top station 1060 masl. Here you get a fantastic view of the mountains, and it is a perfect place for a break between the ski trips. For daily necessities, the nearest grocery store, Kiwi, is about a 15-minute drive down the valley. If you want a wider selection of shops, you will find more options at Leira, while Fagernes is the nearest shopping center with, among other things, a shopping center, liquor store, cafes and restaurants.
