It is located on the 2nd floor of a heritage-listed building from 1854, directly on Theaterplatz. From the windows, you can see the theater, historic old town houses and, in part, the Albrechtsburg. The market square and the Frauenkirche are just a 2-minute walk away. The bright 3-room apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. You have two separate bedrooms, each with a king-size bed (1.80 × 2.00 m) and high-quality bed linen. In the living room, there is also a pull-out sofa bed with mattress and slatted base (1.40 × 2.00 m). For families, we also provide a baby travel cot or a high chair - just let us know in advance. In the spacious living area, a cozy couch and a round real wood table with space for 6 people await you. The built-in kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, induction cooktop, large refrigerator, separate freezer, kettle, toaster and cookware. We provide coffee pods for the Nespresso coffee machine, assorted teas, olive oil and a selection of spices free of charge. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the loggia with a view over the historic old town roofs to the top of the Frauenkirche tower. The 55-inch smart TV gives you access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and various media libraries. You can receive the TV program via Waipu TV. Books, magazines and board games are also available. In the bathroom you will find a rain shower and a bathtub. Fresh towels, a hair dryer and toiletries are available for you. With fast Wi-Fi of up to 70 Mbps, the apartment is also suitable for mobile work. Free private parking is available for our guests. Since the apartment is located directly in the historic old town, the parking lot is about an 8-minute walk away. The exact address will be sent after reservation. The apartment is located directly on Theaterplatz, opposite the Theater Meißen. Numerous restaurants and cafes are very close by. Other distances: • Meißen Altstadt train station: about an 8-minute walk • Porcelain factory: approx. 1 km • Dresden: approx. 30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by S-Bahn Meissen is also an ideal starting point for excursions to Moritzburg Castle, the Erzgebirge and Saxon Switzerland. Sarah is originally from near Meissen, and we ourselves are there regularly to visit family and friends. The name Fynbos comes from Afrikaans and refers to a type of vegetation typical of South Africa. Our enthusiasm for southern Africa is reflected in personal pictures and selected details in the apartment. Zonnebloem means "sunflower" in Afrikaans and is also the name of a traditional South African winery. Guest access During your stay, you will have the apartment completely to yourself and will be undisturbed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. The key is handed over easily by PIN through the electronic locking system (no key required). This allows you to check in independently and contactlessly and be completely independent and flexible. Other things to note We provide high-quality bedding and towels. Coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil and a selection of high-quality spices are at your disposal free of charge during your stay. There's also shampoo (body + hair) from Rituals. We operate 2 more apartments on Theaterplatz, which can accommodate up to 14 people in total. Feel free to ask about combined apartments. Guest tax: The city of Meissen levies a guest tax for the maintenance and development of the tourist infrastructure. Therefore, people who book accommodation in the city pay an amount of €1.50 per person per night all year round. This does not apply to: children and adolescents up to the age of 18 year of life; pupils, students and trainees from the 18th to the 25th year of life; severely disabled persons with the pre-printed symbols BL or aG in the severely disabled person's identity card as well as accompanying persons of severely disabled persons with proof; each additional person of a family if guest tax is paid for three family members.
