How about staying and having uncommon experience at closed Japanese elementary school? Located an 8-minute drive from IYA_GUCHI Sta. Cafe , rescued cats live room,shared shower on the first floor . Guests stay in former classrooms on the second floor. All rooms have air conditioners and the great mattresses . We got comments that guests enjoyed a deep and restful sleep during their stay. A self-service sauna is also available. Dinner and breakfast need reservation in advance only. The space There are five guest rooms on the second floor. This listing is for Room A, which can accommodate fot 2 guests and your family pet. The room was created by dividing a former classroom in half and is furnished with two twin beds. With the original wooden blackboard still in place, this nostalgic classroom invites you to enjoy the unique experience of “staying overnight at a school.” Guest access Guests have access to the private guest room, shared shower rooms and toilets, the sauna, fire pit, dining room, café, and the rescued cat room (open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and until 6:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays). During your stay During your stay, staff members are also staying in the staff room, but we intentionally keep the atmosphere of an unmanned school so you can fully enjoy the experience. If you need anything or have any concerns, we are always available to help. Other things to note Bathroom There is no bath or toilet in the guest room. Please use the shared shower rooms and toilets located on the first floor. As the property is surrounded by nature, insects may occasionally appear. Thank you for your understanding.
