Erlebnisbad Judenburg (3-min drive) 🏊 • Summer Fun: A perfect escape on a hot day! Enjoy the refreshing outdoor pool, the toboggan slide, and more. • Winter Relaxation: After a day of hiking or skiing, the indoor pool is a great place to swim or have some fun with the kids. 2. Winterleitensee - High Alpine Hikes 🏞️ • Drive to the parking area near the Winterleiten Hütte (hut). From there, it's a short walk to the beautiful Kleiner Winterleitensee (Small Lake). • You can then continue on to the bigger Großer Winterleitensee or embark on some challenging high-altitude hikes towards the Zirbitzkogel. • Summer Treat: Keep an eye out for patches of delicious wild blueberries along the trails! 3. Red Bull Ring (17-min drive) 🏁 • Not Just for Race Day! Even without a major event, the world-famous circuit offers unique experiences. You can visit the Welcome Center (including the vehicle exhibition), browse the Fan Shop, or take a stroll along the Walk of Legends. You can also check for available driving experiences (karts, off-road, or even driving the track yourself!) or a guided tour to go behind the scenes! 4. Ski Resort Lachtal (35-min drive) ⛷️ • Experience some of the best winter sport in the region! Lachtal boasts great lifts and well-maintained slopes for all skill levels, complemented by charming on-mountain restaurants for a cozy break and delicious food. 5. Gaal's Culture & Nature (Ingeringsee) 🚘 • Visit the unique VW Beetle Museum (Käfermuseum) in Gaal to explore the history of the beloved 'Bug'. • Combine this with a trip to the stunning Ingeringsee (Klosterwald), a beautiful lake framed by mountains. Take a tranquil walk around the water and admire the picturesque Klementine Chapel on its shore. 6. Forest & Mushroom Picking 🍄 • Nearby forests offers excellent opportunities for foraging. The local forests are known for their bounty of mushrooms (depending on the season). • Local Tip: Remember the regional rule: please limit your harvest to less than 2 kg per person.
