1 bedroom house located at 30 meters from the beach at the surf spot of Tuason, in General Luna, Siargao. Perfect for surfers and island lovers, you will enjoy the privacy of your own room and garden just a few meters from a white sand beach. The property has now a generator. Ideal for families and friends, it features a 80 sqm of private garden, a kitchenette, brand-new 55-inch TV with Netflix. It has a queen size bed for 2 pax and we can arrange another two beds for extra guests. The space IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Villa is the permanent residence of the host. The house is only available while the host is not on the island. This will guarantee you a full home experience with well-cared equipment and the details of your own home. We invite our guests to keep the place in harmony with a loving home and not with the transactional experience of commercial accommodation. Strictly NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED. If you are intending to host a party or an event, please don't book Moonrise Villa Siargao. If detected, every person entering the property will incur a charge. ELECTRICITY AND WATER Electric/Water supply interruptions are recurrent issues on the entire island. The public water network only supplies water 10 hours a day. To mitigate this, we run a water pump 24/7, but it's exposed to electricity disruptions. In case of unexpected electrical cuts/interruptions on the island, please be informed that we do not have a generator as we are eco-friendly. Brownouts are inevitable, please be ready to lose water supply and electricity in the entire villa until the power supply is restored. Electricity and water are extremely precious resources on the island, and the most expensive in the entire country. Please be mindful of the environment. SAFETY Being beachfront, the common areas are partially accessible by the beach. Do not leave valuables in the living room. Always lock your room when you are not in the property or while you are sleeping. We are not responsible for belonging lost or stolen in the property. For your safety, the house has several cameras in outdoor areas, and are placed in a direction that won't monitor the inside of the rooms. The footage will only be monitored in case of incidents. NATURE AND ANIMALS You will be staying in a beachfront house in direct contact with the elements and exposed to mother nature. While the house is near many bars and restaurants, the jungle and the ocean will be surrounding you. Please expect sudden changes of weather, strong rains, wild animals and pests. Stray dogs should be kept out if the fence is always closed, but other animals like cats, birds, bugs, frogs, kermits, crabs, mosquitos, flies and occasionally cockroaches and mouses may be present. We regularly pest control the house and we managed to neutralize most sources of mosquito nests and the result is quite good for island standards, but still all have these visitors and that's part of island life.
