Once upon a Cosy Nook

Lucky you - getting the best room in our warm and welcoming 1920's home in the heart of St Clair. You will marvel at the original high ornate ceiling and decorative fireplace feature. Enjoy the Work/Study Nook which we have stylishly sectioned off from your bed with a room divider. There's even a Monitor and HDMI cord provided for your use. Perfect! Location location location... we are mere minutes' walk on the flat from St Clair Beach and its range of fantastic Eateries and boutique shops. The space The house is 100 years old and not overly large - 127 SQM interior - with 3 queen sized bedrooms (1 x host, 1 x guest and 1 home office), 1 shared main bathroom, 1 separate lounge, 1 large combined kitchen/dining/living area, 1 separate laundry with 1 separate toilet, and a large outdoor deck and BBQ area. Your bedroom has lots of natural light with 3 windows that can open and it has a very roomy feel with the high ceiling. It is at the front of the house which is close to the road so please note there will be light traffic noise on weekday mornings (it is not a main thoroughfare nor on a bus route). The bedrooms are in proximity to the bathroom as per the typical layout of houses of this era. We are not bothered by any shower/bathroom noise at any time day or night - please be 1000% assured of this! :D The entire house is double glazed and very well insulated - you will not be cold. During your stay As this is a shared house, we will be around but are very respectful of your space. I wish I could say the same for Crumpet (our Burmese Cat) ... Speaking of Cats, we have two (Crumpet and Huey) and they're extremely friendly. Crumpet especially will be looking to interact with you, however he does understand a firm "NO" and will get the hint that he needs to jog on! If you do not like Cats or are allergic, please use your discretion when booking.
