This house built at the end of the Art Deco period, located in the heart of Auvergne, with stunning views of Lake Chambon and the Chaudefour Valley, has been completely renovated to make it the perfect intimate retreat for a relaxing stay in harmony between lake and mountains. The facade of the house retains the elegance and charm of the Art Deco style, recalling the history of the place while integrating harmoniously into the landscape. Inside, the design is resolutely contemporary, creating a striking but harmonious contrast between the old and the modern. Villa Arvernha is ideally located for exploring the natural wonders of Auvergne. Located in the immediate vicinity of Lake Chambon, it offers easy access to many outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking in the Chaudefour Valley Nature Reserve, or discovering the region's iconic volcanic landscapes. This 135 m² accommodation for 4 people is entirely on one level. From the entrance at the back of the house, you can already see at the other end of the hallway the window that opens onto the lake panorama. 2 large bedrooms welcome you. The master bedroom has a double bed of 180 cm (possibility to separate the bed into 2 single beds of 90 cm each) and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. The second bedroom consists of 2 single beds of 90 cm each (possibility to bring them together to make a double bed of 180 cm) as well as a bathroom. It also has access to the terrace to enjoy the spa outside. The villa also has 2 separate toilets. The living room is undoubtedly the room where you will never get tired of lounging. This space is bathed in light thanks to its large bay windows and yet it is no less relaxing with its soothing atmosphere thanks to the natural materials where the old wood dominates. This living room is both a place of contemplation from where you can admire the lake, calm in summer with its boats, sometimes agitated when the wind descends from the Massif du Sancy and frozen when winter freezes it. This living room will also be the place where you will listen to the flame crackle in the wood stove, where you will engage in beautiful board games on the coffee table, where you will follow your favorite series on the giant screen or simply dive into a reading about the legends of Auvergne.
