Guest access Whole House Other things to note Raglan is home to some of the best waves in New Zealand, with the world class lefthand point breaks of Indicators, Whale Bay and Manu Bay only a 10 minute drive from the house. With surfing, kite surfing, fishing, and the longest inland harbour in New Zealand - Raglan is a coastal Mecca, but if land based activities are more your thing, there is no shortage of this either. With an 18 hole golf course directly across the estuary from Kōtare Grove, a downhill mountain bike track, skate park and pump track, numerous hiking trails, yoga and pilates studios, a thriving art community - there is truly something in this wonderful little village for everyone. Within Rangitahi itself there is over 14km of walking tracks around the peninsula, where you will be taken from the bush to the sea at various stages around the trails. You’ll get to enjoy the results of extensive planting of native flora and fauna that has made the native bird population flourish, and also our community fruit tree’s that are dotted around the peninsula, including a table-grape vineyard, Fig and Apple grove, an avocado orchard, and a 5000sqm Olive grove. If a game of tennis or basketball is more your thing - there are brand new facilities on the peninsula as well. A farmers market is held from time to time, and a cafe (The Hut) is also conveniently located 100m from the house.
