Come and stay in our newly renovated, bright and spacious apartment in the heart of the Kamnik-Savinja alps. Base you and your family here and explore the beauty of the surrounding area. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay with 2 large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, 2 large balconies, a tv room and a large utility room to put all those muddy boots at the end of a long day in the mountains! The space The apartment is located on the first floor of a newly renovated house in the small sub alpine village of Luce. We live on the floors above with our young family and are always on hand should you have any problems or need information about the local and surrounding areas. The apartment consists of 2 large bedrooms containing 1 double bed & full size bunk beds in room 1, 2 single beds in room 2 with plenty of space to add a childrens cot. You have a family bathroom with bath & shower, a large kitchen/dining room, a small snug room with a smart tv, books & games, a large washing room with an extra toilet & lots of space for sports equipment, boots, coats, ski's etc. You are free to use the front garden & outdoor dining area and parking is free outside the property. The property is located on a dead end street and it is only a 2 minute walk to the main street of Luce which offers a couple of cafes, a small (but well stocked) supermarket, a bankomat, bakery and a restaurant. Other things to note Luce is located in the stunning Savinja valley and is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to explore this untouched area. The town itself has been called one of the most beautiful in Slovenia and is located alongside the Savinja river where you can sit and relax or enjoy a very refreshing dip! Logarska Dolina and Velika Planina are both within a short drive away and are a dream for anyone looking to escape and connect to nature. From here you can hike for days or simply sit and enjoy the epic views, in winter cross country skiing is also an option or for downhill the small Golte ski resort is just a 30 minute drive. The city of Celje is 50 minutes away and Ljubljana just over an hour, both great cities with plenty to do. The castle at Celje is a particularly enjoyable day out. Velenje lake is 40 minutes and the perfect spot for kids, a lake suitable for swimming with playgrounds, cafes, restaurants and bars all within a short distance.
