National Monument De Heidepleats 'de ko'

Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. The space Welcome to De Heidepleats! This 1860 national monument is beautiful and oh so beautiful sober. It is in the middle of the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden, the beautiful scenic landscape. Since 2021, we have been living in this farm with our three young children. At the back of the 'pleats', we built two cottages with our own hands: 'de ko' and 'it skiep'. Upon entering, you will see the group stables on one side and the cottages are built on the other side. "De ko" is a cozy space of 40m2, has all the comforts and offers privacy. Own entrance. Reception with coffee/tea and something typical Frysk. Kitchen complete with inventory, oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and kitchen textiles. Private sanitary facilities with bathtub, rain shower, hair dryer, towels, shower gel and shampoo. A lovely electrically adjustable bed with luxurious mattresses. Seat with sofa. Table with two chairs. Terrace and various seating areas overlooking the meadows. Ipad (instead of TV) with internet and streaming possibilities. Limescale-free water. Breakfast can be booked in consultation: €12.50 pppn. Use washing machine at extra cost. You can enjoy walking and cycling in the area. The beach (Bergumermeer) with catering is 3 km away from the cottage.
