The exterior and courtyard maintain the traditional look, allowing you to fully experience the charm of a hanok, while the interior has been designed with a modern touch to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. Additionally, because the Hanok has an inner courtyard, you may sometimes encounter insects. (Unwadang receives regular pest control services from CESCO to prevent this.) As Bukchon Hanok Village is a residential area, we kindly ask that you refrain from making loud noises after quiet hours to respect the community. Due to the characteristics of traditional Korean houses, outdoor shoes must be removed when inside. For a comfortable stay, smoking is prohibited. Smoke detectors are active indoors.
