Our brand new 33sqm, self-contained two-bedroom modular cabin/tiny house has been designed to capture the spectacular coastal views. Located in the heart of town you can enjoy bird watching, hiking local trails, enjoy fresh oysters, visit the wharf for a spot of fishing, kayaking or wildlife spotting. The resident seals are a highlight to watch! The space Essence includes a cozy leather lounge, stone top breakfast bar seating two, a well-appointed kitchen with a dishwasher, full-size sink, bar fridge, microwave, two burner electric cooktop, Nespresso coffee machine, ecology dinnerware, all utensils and cooking equipment, smart TV, reverse cycle air-conditioner, outdoor table & chairs seating 4 and starlink wireless internet. The bedrooms feature a queen-sized bed in each room, luxury linen provided, linen bathrobes, stunning water views and block-out blinds. The main bedroom has a compact built-in wardrobe and direct access to the timber deck. There is a stylish bathroom featuring a rain shower head, flushing toilet, vanity, towels and beautiful Australian-made body products. Enjoy watching the abundance of birdlife including the endangered glossy black cockatoos from the large timber deck or sit by the firepit on a cool winter's night. Book Essence for up to 4 or book Essence as a couples retreat for 2, either way you will have this beautiful home all to yourself. Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin & property. Other things to note Please ensure you book the Sealink Ferry at the same time as booking your accommodation. We have carefully chosen Starlink and SA Power as they are the most reliable internet and power source on Kangaroo Island however being a remote location occasionally there is circumstances outside of our control where the internet / power services may be disrupted. Packing light is key to ensuring you enjoy the space. We recommend on bringing a ‘carry on’ size suitcase for your stay at Essence. The main bedroom has a built in wardrobe and in the second bedroom there is a bench seat for your suitcase to rest. A water tank is currently in use at Essence, this will be checked prior to your arrival but we do ask you to please be mindful of precious water use.
