A home-away-from-home in nature-filled Warrandyte, with convenient access to the CBD by car/bus. Maggie is the owner and your host. We are a local family who have lived in Melbourne for 25+ years. We warmly invite guests to enjoy a slice of the good life at our one-of-a-kind property! - The Guesthouse - There are 4 bedrooms in the guesthouse, which is the ground floor of the building. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Comforts of home included: Wi-fi & TV in every bedroom, shared kitchen, shared living room, free shared laundry & dryer. Other free facilities included in your stay: - tennis court with basketball hoop, sport equipment provided - mahjong table - swimming pool (NOTE: heated in Summer only) - pool table - charcoal BBQ - tea & coffee in the kitchen Please note there is an additional usage fee for the professional home cinema. Easy access to the CBD: The 906 bus stop is 500 meters away, with direct access to Melbourne Central Station in the heart of Melbourne CBD in ~40 mins (without traffic). Security: Each bedroom is lockable. The property has external security cameras Guest access Free access to these facilities is included in your stay: - unheated swimming pool & spa - tennis court w/ basketball hoop (equipment available on request) - billiards (pool table) - free laundry & dryer use, detergent included - tea & coffee in the kitchen - outdoor children's playground Please note that there is an additional charge for the professional home cinema, to cover utilities and cleaning. During your stay You will have complete space and privacy after check-in, and are welcomed to contact me for any needs. The host residence is on the upper floor, on the opposite side of the building to the guest rooms, with a separate entrance. They are as separate as two self-contained apartments on different floors, 30-metres apart. Sound does not travel from the guest bedrooms to upstairs, maintaining your privacy.
