Charming Guesthouse in Salem

Enjoy your stay in our guesthouse! We are centrally located: close to downtown, the Capital, Willamette University, and Salem Hospital! Enjoy the shared outdoor space with our primary home complete with a hot tub, outdoor seating, grill, fully fenced yard, and backyard chickens. Or curl up on the couch in the open concept first floor and watch a movie, cook a meal in the full kitchen or just catch up on laundry! This quaint space can do it all! The space The guesthouse is located on the back half of our property in the Grant neighborhood. It has a private alley entrance with off street parking available for 1-2 cars. The guesthouse has an open concept first floor which includes a comfortable seating area and frame TV. There is a dining room table that seats 4, and a full kitchen equipped with full size appliances and basic cooking ware. The first floor also has a coat closet, half-bath, and full size front loading washer and dryer. The temperature on the first floor is controlled by a mini-split unit/heat pump via remote. The second floor has two bedrooms equipped with queen beds, large walk in closets, and blackout curtains. The primary bedroom has an en-suite door to the shared full bathroom. The second bedroom has a desk/workspace. Each bedroom has a mini-split/heat pump unit to control the temperature/humidity via remote, as well as an overhead fan also controlled by remote. Sliding doors open to the fully fenced back yard that is shared with our primary residence. You may interact with your host (including our dog Poppy) or other guests in this space. Feel free to enjoy the hot tub, outdoor seating, hammock, fire pit, and propane grill in this space! We also have a very friendly flock of backyard chickens who live in a coop and run. Help yourself to fresh eggs during your stay! Guest access Guests have full access to the guesthouse and are welcome to fully utilize the outdoor space.
