Welcome to Great Oak! Stylish modern studio situated on 7 gated acres, surrounded by rolling hills, featuring a 60’ lap pool and outdoor lounging and dining area! Beautifully landscaped pool area and a pergola on the upper terrace with outdoor seating affording spectacular sunset views. The interior of this modern open studio features exclusive furnishings, a queen-size bed, 2 sofas, 55" TV, bistro table, two builtin workstations, kitchenette and full bath with walk-in glass shower. The space The well-equipped kitchenette features a Nespresso machine and a K-Cup coffee and tea maker, milk frother, microwave, toaster oven, double and single hot plate, slow cooker, Instant Pot and full-size fridge. Beautifully decorated interiors by two former corporate executives of Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and West Elm, including custom fine art painted exclusively for the property. We fondly refer to the property as Great Oak because of the dozens of gorgeous of oaks across the grounds. Rental guests often comment on how private the compound feels across its 7 acres with few homes in view and yet only minutes from both Sonoma and Glen Ellen. If you love hiking and biking, Cavedale Rd. is an 7 mile long artery crossing from Sonoma into Napa. Or, simply sit back and relax in a truly rural setting with spectacular views of the Valley of Moon, uniquely framed by both the Mayacamas and Sonoma Mountains...truly one of the best locations the wine country has to offer. Guest access We welcome guests to explore the property and enjoy the many different areas to relax, savor a drink and take in the vistas. We live on the property. The guest studio was specifically designed to face away from the main house in order to afford guests the privacy you deserve. The guest studio is also attached to the garage so on occasion guests may hear the garage door opening/closing. The lap pool is shared with the owners. When guests are present, we limit our use of the pool to our daily laps and try to do so when guests are out exploring all that Sonoma and Napa have to offer. The pool is not heated in the off-season. We have 2 friendly Gordon Setter dogs (Tobi 4 years old and Nikki 3 years old) that roam the property and may come over to visit. If you are uncomfortable with dogs, or they are in any way bothering you, please call/text us and we will make sure to keep them with us. It is not a bother at all, so please don’t hesitate to let us know. Also, when entering or leaving the property, if you could take care and not let the dogs out. The grass is always greener, and they will make a run for it if the gate is opened. Please call us or text us if you need assistance.
