Located just minutes from the San Juan Mountains, the Colorado Farm House is the perfect vacation spot if you are looking for a true Colorado experience. Whether you are on vacation with your family, hunting, skiing, fishing, or looking to stay near Sand Hill Crane sighting locations, you will love our farm house! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has the comfort of home. Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges as you soak up what truly makes Colorado special! The space This property was inspected and approved by Rio Grande County Land Use Administration. Permit #: STR-138-24 Other things to note We have 3 dogs on the property. They are friendly but we will try our best to keep them away from the property. This is also an operating farm. We have farm equipment coming in and out of the property on a consistent basis. Please stay away and off all equipment. No recreational or illegal drugs are allowed inside the house or on property. *We have an outdoor space that serves as an event venue with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and the surrounding foothills. With open-air ceremony spaces and a rustic aesthetic, it’s perfect for weddings, anniversaries , family reunions, graduations, and much more! The space is $1,000 a day and includes a pergola, large lawn area, parking, and electricity. Outdoor restrooms are available but not included. Event planning services are subject to additional fees if needed, and vary based on complexity and duration of the event. See outdoor space photos in “additional photos” section. Contact property manager for more information. *We can board horses for an additional $25 per night. Arrangements will need to be made at time of reservation. Feed is not included. **The house is located 5-6 miles from the Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge, home of key migration routes of the Sand Hill Cranes. Spring migration begins early March through April and also mid- October through the end of November. We tend to have cranes on property during migration seasons.
