The wrap around balcony offers a great space to not only lounge and entertain guests but to enjoy those magnificent views.Upon entry into this architectural mountain masterpiece, you will find a large open living spacefeaturing a two-story showpiece wood burning fireplace and large built in seating to take in the unobstructed views of the New Years Torchlight festivities or year round mountain views. The kitchen features European style cabinetry, built-in stainless steel appliances and an exposed wood beam ceiling. The main floor also includes two large bedrooms with a jack-and-jill bathroom and an office with floor to ceiling windows for unlimited light and views. The third level is a private oasis encompassing an open balcony that leads to the master bedroom en-suite featuring a European jetted tub, large walk-in shower and an oversized walk-in closet with an enclosed sauna Guest access Full house access! Other things to note WEATHER Alaska Slopes is currently experiencing very low temperatures. Outdoor temperatures range from the low teens to below zero for extended periods. Please be prepared for these extreme conditions during your stay. HOUSE & COMMUNITY RULES Late Checkout Fee Guests who checkout late without approval and prior notice will be subject to a fee of $100. Shoes-Off Home To help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the home, we kindly ask all guests to remove their shoes when inside and leave the shoes at the door. Off-Limits Storage Please note that the shed on the property is used for storing building supplies and lawn equipment. It is not part of your accommodation, and should not be accessed. WILDLIFE WARNING Please be aware it is common in the wilds of Alaska for residents to have their dogs off-leash, and for dogs to bark to deter bears and other wild animals. If you are not comfortable with dogs in the area, this home may not be the best for you. Wildlife populations including black bears are high in the area (particularly March-October), and we kindly remind families to keep a close eye on children, avoid leaving food outside (including residue in the grill and fire), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed. NO AIRCONDITIONING As is common in this climate, the home does not have air conditioning, but we provide portable fans to keep you cool and comfortable. SAFETY Before using the hot tub, please take a quick shower to help keep the water clean and enjoyable for all guests. Oils, lotions, and other residues can affect water quality and may lead to maintenance issues. We recommend setting it to 102°F, as most people find this temperature comfortable, though it may be adjusted higher if preferred. PET POLICY Our pet fee is $350 per stay and covers up to 2 dogs with a combined maximum weight of 100 lbs. The fee goes directly to the cleaner for the additional work required after a pet stay. Pets are strictly prohibited on beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, and in spa facilities. NO SMOKING Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the home. A fine of $1,000 will be applied to any guest found violating this policy. EVENTS Parties or events are not allowed unless prior written approval is given by our team. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a fine.
