Relax and enjoy this exquisite summer 2024 renovated space nestled in an acre of woods. Ideally located just a ½ mile walk to the edge of campus, you’ll feel right at home in the lower level of our family home decorated and supplied with love and care. Cook in the charming kitchen, rest in the cozy bedroom, enjoy a serene shower or bath, relax or watch TV in the living room & office with a gas fireplace and plenty of natural light. Includes washer/dryer & sleeps 5 with queen & twin foldouts. The space Our home is just a 1 mile drive (and even shorter walk) to the heart of campus yet feels remote in a neighborhood of just six homes surrounded by woods. You'll stay in the completely private walkout basement of our family home, complete with a comfortable queen bed in the private bedroom, kitchen, full bathroom and laundry, a patio with a dining table, and a backyard staircase for easier access to Richland Avenue. Comfortably sleeps five with an extra queen memory foam fold out bed and two twin fold out chairs in the living room. We have a large, open yard, a climbing dome, swings, and playground equipment to keep your kids active. There are up to three parking spots available right outside our home. A very beautiful, comfortable space year-round, there are windows in every room with a view of an acre of forest. We've put a lot of love and care into making your space special & comfortable, and are typically available right upstairs if you need anything at all. Guest access The first floor has its own private key pad lock entrance and includes one bedroom, a large living room, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry and full bath with a tub & shower. You'll also have outdoor back porch access which leads to the backyard staircase tucked in the woods. Other things to note Easy access to Richland Avenue situates us almost next door to Cutler's restaurant and a Starbucks within the Ohio University Inn. Purple Chopstix restaurant is just behind our road, as is McHappy's Donuts and Stop-N-Cop drive through carryout. Pets are welcome for an additional $50 fee, and we ask that they are crated when left alone. We started this request due to the realization that some pets become unexpectedly anxious when left alone in a new environment and go through great lengths to try to escape.
