The house is in a great location! The beach access was practically across the street! With only a few short steps to the beach, the house included all of the beach chairs, coolers, and sand toys you will need! It is also a quick walk to all of the islands shops, restaurants, and activities. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything is brand new! It’s very well organized and has everything you will need. The pool and outdoor tiki bar are very relaxing. The refrigerator in the garage made it very accessible to get to our drinks while lounging poolside. The elevator also made it very convenient to get our luggage up two flight of stairs. We can’t wait for our next vacation at A Shell of a Time! ❗IMPORTANT INFORMATION Please know that the following is included in your price: Our cleaning fee includes both the cost of professional cleaning upon departure and the following items: White, fresh linens for each bed, made up prior to your arrival. A fluffy, white bath towel for each potential guest, as well as two washcloths. A hand towel for each bathroom sink. A bathmat for each shower/tub. Kitchen towels are supplied. Amenities kits including eco-friendly products: dish soap, dish detergent, dish sponge, laundry detergent, shampoos, conditioners, body and hand soaps. A roll of paper towels for the kitchen. Bath tissue for each bathroom. Mandatory damage waiver, taxes, and processing fee are also included in your total. Note* Please know that amenities items are not necessarily meant to be supplied for the entire length of your stay, but helpful products in case you forget or run out! Age Requirement: Guests under 25 must receive pre-approval. Smoke-Free Environment: All Pier 42 Properties are smoke-free zones. PET POLICY: A pet is allowed at A Shell of a Time for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $200, one pet only. Guests must notify us in prior to booking if they plan to bring a pet, and approval is required. Required documentation includes up-to-date rabies vaccination records, proof of flea and tick prevention, and a photo of the pet. Documentation must be emailed or submitted through the contact link on the website, via email, or chat, including the reservation number, at least 2 weeks in advance. Pets are not allowed on beds or in the pool. They must abide by Ocean Isle Beach laws regarding pets on the beach and leash requirements. Any pet left unattended must be crated and cannot be left outside. The pet fee will be charged to the card on file unless otherwise notified. Please ensure that your pet is well-behaved and does not cause any damage to the property. Additional fees may apply if extra cleaning or repairs are required due to the pet. There is no liability for pets. If a pet is found at the property or management discovers that a pet was present without authorization, additional fees will occur. Safety First: Fire pits and deep fryers are prohibited to ensure guest safety. Pool heating is an additional $100 per night with a 3 night minimum. If you would like to add pool heating to your stay, please request the service at least 2 weeks prior to your check-in date. ❌CANCELLATION POLICY You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid excluding the "admin fee" if you notify Pier 42 Realty & Vacations in writing (by email or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within sixty (60) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 60 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Pier 42 Realty & Vacation Rentals. Admin fees are non-refundable.
