Mountain Vista Retreat is a place where time slows down, and nature’s beauty surrounds you. Our little cottage is a sanctuary in the heart of the Appalachian and Smoky Mountains. From the moment you step onto the porch, the mountains will greet you with their timeless majesty. Whether it’s the first light of dawn or the golden hues of sunset, we hope these moments bring you a deep sense of calm and peace. The space The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a living and dining room integrated with a kitchen. It also has a large side yard, a fire pit, a hot tube and a shed (game room). The main bedroom is spacious with a king bed, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, TV, and French doors leading to a balcony with amazing mountain views and a private full bathroom. A small balcony adds charm and outdoor seating. The second bedroom has two twin beds, large sliding doors to the deck, ceiling fan, and soft lighting. The third bedroom has a king bed, ceiling fan, TV, an access to the deck and a private full bathroom. This cozy living and dining area features vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and a large mounted TV. The space is furnished with a leather sofa, wooden dining table, and chairs with plush covers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Large windows and glass doors offer plenty of natural light and provide access to a deck with beautiful mountain views, perfect for outdoor relaxation. This cozy game room is perfect for relaxation and entertainment. It features a comfortable sectional sofa, a 85" wall-mounted TV, and a fun size pool/pingpong table. The side yard offers a spacious outdoor area with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It features a hot tub and comfortable seating, including a table and chairs, perfect for outdoor dining or unwinding while surrounded by nature. With its elevated position and unobstructed views, it provides a peaceful retreat for enjoying nature and fresh air. The property is 2 minutes up from Chimney Rock Rd, 20 minutes from Hendersonville and 12 minutes to Chimney Rock State. Guest access Guests can enjoy all amenities and spaces of the property. Other things to note Full names of all guests and a government issued photo ID are required for all adults. This will be required before checking in for all adults over 18 yo that will stay at the house. We have two outdoor security cameras, one by the shed facing the main house and one on the side yard facing the fire pit. Because the property is surrounded by forest, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, both inside and outside. Please note that a $500 fee will apply if any evidence of smoking or vaping is found. Thank you.
