Lake Escape Cabin on Pickerel Lake St Germain

Unwind at the Lake Escape Cottage in Northwoods Wisconsin. Our lakefront cottage is located in a quaint town of Saint Germain on a quiet lake call Pickerel Lake. Come watch the amazing colors of our sunsets while lounging around the fire pit. Experience the serenity and the calmness while hiking or biking. Escape the city today! The space Inside the Cottage: In the cozy heated and air conditioned cottage, you will find an open kitchen/dining/living room floor plan, one bathroom, and a queen size bed in the each of the 2 bedrooms. There is one smart TV and a sleeper sofa that can sleep 2 more people in the open living dining area. The kitchen has all the basic cooking appliances and utensils - cooktop with oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, and toaster. Bed linens, bath towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags are provided. We do not provide swimming towels. Outside of the Cottage: You will find a fire pit, outdoor chairs, a picnic table, and a gas grill. There is a second wooden picnic table with a water hose nearby that you can use to clean your catch. You can use one side of the boat slip at the shared pier. What to bring: Guests will need to bring any desired cooking spices and condiments. Please bring toiletry and hair dryer if you like to use a hair dryer. Firewood is available at the local grocery store & gas station in town if you like to buy those before hand as we do not leave any firewood on the property. The Lake: Pickerel Lake is 735 acres with only one side of the shoreline allowed for homes to be built on. Therefore, it is a very quiet lake because of this reason. Guests have caught muskies, walleyes, blue gills, bass, and pikes. Surrounding Area: ATV trails right outside the door and miles of miles of bike trails nearby. The Town: Located in Saint Germain where during summer months a large flea market is held on Mondays from 9am-3p. There is a local grocery store, gas station, bait shop, and many cafes and restaurants. Guest access Guests have access to the shared pier. You may bring your own marine equipment if you wish. Parking instructions for boat trailer will be given to you prior to check-in. Other things to note Being in the Northwoods and staying nearby a lake can mean that sometimes our satellite internet is not so dependable. If you need reliable internet at all times, this cottage may not be for you. You can bring your marine equipment to use and dock at the shared pier or you can rent with local marine rental companies during your stay. For our fishing guests, we ask that you don't clean your fish inside the cottage. There's an additional picnic table with water hose that fish cleaning can be conducted there.
