Château du Colombier Gîte

Enjoy the natural setting of this historic accommodation, located in Burgundy between the Cliffs and the River. Away from the village, you will enjoy the calm around the 13 m heated swimming pool, the petanque court, the terrace or the Colombier transformed into a library with a rest bed. A fully enclosed 2 ha plot ensures serenity and tranquility. Nearby, the Rochers du Saussois, a climbing spot, and charming villages with local shops, and the Canal. The space The Château has 5 bedrooms, all equipped with a bathroom and toilet. Two of these rooms are "family suites" that have a small adjoining room for children or friends. Two living rooms are at your disposal: a large living room with sofas, armchairs and fireplace, and a small living room transformed into a library & cabinet of curiosities. A very large equipped kitchen/dining room of 60 m2 will allow you to cook and eat your meals. It has a double entrance: one on the pool side and the other on the terrace side overlooking the Colombier. Outside: on a 2 ha plot, a large heated & illuminated swimming pool, open from May to October, a dovecote transformed into a library, a petanque court with balls available, a game of Molkyy etc... Guest access The entire property is at your disposal. Other things to note There is the Château cat that lives on site, it is autonomous in food and water. She doesn't sleep in the Castle but outside where she has her comfort in an annex. She is not allowed to enter the bedrooms. He sometimes comes to sleep during the day in the living room or dining room. I propose oenology and tasting workshops through the discovery of the white and red wines of the Yonne.
