Lalling belongs to the beautiful district town of Deggendorf. The country house Jakob is located in the small village of Gerholling in the Lallinger Winkel. Right next to the listed farmhouse ensemble, directly on the Goldsteig and not far from the local Kneipp facility and the unique Feng Shui spa park. Merano of the Bavarian Forest is the apt nickname of our beautiful region, surrounded on three sides by mountains and opening to the south to the Danube Valley, making Lalling a particularly mild climate and suitable for fruit growing. Thanks to our advantageous geographical location, you can reach all the sights easily and quickly. Whether it's the treetop path, Silberberg, Glasdorf, summer toboggan run, Haus auf dem Kopf, Keltendorf, Arber, Rachel, Lusen, or the monasteries of Metten and Niederalteich, Schloss Egg or the museum village to name but a few. Even in winter, the Lallinger Winkel has something to offer, skiing, cross-country skiing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing or a sleigh ride. Arrival via the A3 towards Passau or A92 towards Deggendorf. Take the exit Kreuz Deggendorf and follow the B11. Turn left towards Konrad-Adenauer-Straße (signs to Deggendorf-Nord/Rohrstetten/Lalling/Schaufling). Turn right at the 1st crossroad onto Konrad-Adenauer-Straße. At the roundabout, take the second exit and follow the road via Schaufling to Gerholling/Lalling.
