Aloe Villa is a detached property located on a hillside behind Galley Bay Beach, a stone's throw from Giorgio Armani's cliffside estate. The villa is 5 minutes walking to the Galley Bay Beach and 3 minutes driving to Hawksbill Beach, both included on the list for the most beautiful secluded beaches in Antigua. Aloe accommodates up to 5 people on a picture perfect setting, 10 minutes drive from St. John's, home to restaurants and shopping. The villa is very spacious, has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen where meals can be prepared for outdoor dining in one of the 2 verandas or even just by the pool. The villa does not have A/C but you won't miss it as the location is exposed to a constant breeze that keeps it the space always cool (there are fans in the house should you need it though). Aloe is a Private Detached Villa and you'll have Exclusive use of the Pool, Terraces and Verandas in the property. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have before or during your stay. Galley Bay is characterised by its crystal clear waters, lush vegetation and three-quarters-of-a-mile long sandy beach. The nearby village of Five Islands is within easy reach and is brimming with colonial motifs, including the remnants of the Fort Barrington. The tight-knit residence of Five Islands are noted for their warm friendliness and hospitality. You're within easy reach of some nice some shopping in St John's (10 minutes driving), The English Harbour and the Nelson's Dockyard as well as the historical Shirley Heights are within 50 minutes driving distance from the villa. A must journey through the island's villages, the warm people and the contrasting scenery of the turquoise waters, the small villages with colourful houses and the verdant forest. Location: Galley Bay is located on the west coast of Antigua, about 4 miles from St John's (10 minutes by car). The villa is located on a hillside "cul-de-sac" and we advise our guests to rent a car, ideally a jeep. There's free parking just outside the villa for multiple vehicles. Distance from the airport: Approximately 25 minutes by car from VC Bird International Airport. We can collect you from the airport, direct you to a company that delivers hire cars and well as directing you to the Villa. A car is a must for exploring Antigua, the best way to explore the island and the numerous off beaten path beaches is definitely on the road (and handy for picking up groceries to cook in the Villa).
