Hook, Line & Sinker - Calabash

Tee up and relax at our cozy condo, Hook, Line & Sinker, the perfect spot to unwind on one of the championship golf courses, or on a long walk on the beach. We have two bedrooms, one with a king bed and private bath, and the other with two queen beds, a large whirlpool tub, a shower, and efficiency kitchen with mini fridge, hot plate, microwave and coffee maker. A washer and dryer are in the unit. One set of linens and towels are provided. Toiletries provided. Exterior camera for security. The space Hook, Line & Sinker is a 2 bedroom/2 bath condominium in a gated golf community with loads of amenities. It is roomy and comfortable and perfect seating for 6 guests. The living room is an open concept with a couch, loveseat and chair. There is an electric fireplace you can use with or without heat. There is a large Smart 50"TV. The kitchen overlooks the living room so that even with meal preparation, you can still be part of the conversation. Free WIFI is high speed broadband. Roku streaming is included. The Master bedroom has a king sleigh bed with new mattress and a 50" Smart TV and a private bath with tub/shower. There are room darkening curtains and USB and USB-C charging ports. Toiletries are available for your convenience and special washcloths to remove makeup. The Guest bedroom has two queen panel beds, a radio alarm clock, USB and USB-C charging port, a large whirlpool tub, shower, and toiletries and special washcloths to remove makeup. There is a 50" Smart TV, an efficiency with refrigerator, hot plate, microwave, and Keurig coffeemaker with all the fixings. There is also separate heat and air conditioning and room darkening curtains. There are beach towels, two chairs and a small cooler in the closet for use at the beach. The kitchen is fully furnished with all things necessary to fix your favorite comfort foods when you decide to dine in. There are place settings, silverware and glasses for 8. Included are roasting pans, bakeware (pizza pans, cookie sheets, etc.), bowls, measuring cups and spoons, serving platter, casseroles and serving spoons. Frying pans, tea kettle, 1 gallon pitcher, complete set of knives and cutting boards. A Keurig coffeemaker, a coffee carousel with teas and coffees, creamer, sweeteners are all available for your use. There is a spice carousel with 40 different spices and so much more. I'm an avid cook and made sure that if it's something I would use, it should be in the kitchen. There are also cold packs in the freezer for the beach cooler. The dining area is perfect seating for 6 and when not eating, the table can be used as a work space. The balcony has wicker furniture including a lounge and there are Tommy Bahama cushions in the box, enough to seat 6. There are three wicker chairs, a lounge and a couple of metal chairs. It's so serene to have coffee in the morning, listening to the birds, or enjoying your favorite hors d'oeuvres and beverages after a fun day of play. Community Amenities: Brunswick Plantation is a gated golf community. As you drive through the gate, you are met with lush greens, ponds and beautiful homes on the golf course. The courses (there are three) are top championship greens and are in the top 50 courses in the country. There is a skill level for every player. There is one indoor saltwater pool, a hot tub and workout room in the Brunswick House and four outdoor pools, a pickleball, tennis and volleyball court. The Plantation House has a golf pro shop and the Champion's Grill restaurant. Sunset Beach is just minutes away, and honestly, it's the prettiest beach in North Carolina. At the end of the island is a bird sanctuary. Make sure you check out the mailbox there! For the fisherman, there is a 900' pier and the store can supply you with all your fishing needs and there's no need for a license. There are plenty of other activities such as the planetarium in Calabash, the Swamp Park in Ocean Isle for the adventurous of all ages, shelling in Holden Beach, and of course you can always enjoy Myrtle Beach just a half an hour away. All the fun and none of the traffic! As for food, Calabash is known for the Calabash style of lightly breaded seafood. There are so many restaurants (and so little time!) They claim it's the Seafood Capital of the World. Cleaning Fee is always include in our price. Guest access Access is for the entire condo. Other things to note We do ask that there is no smoking, vaping, marijuana or chewing tobacco. Also, no pets are allowed. With that out of the way...We hope you feel like our home is your home, but with just a little pampering, and our goal is to be your home away from home.
