Our 3,200 SF home has 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms, two living rooms, a sunroom with a modern kitchen and deck; all on a private property with expansive views of the mountains. Cook in your own kitchen and wake up to glorious views of the Jay Peak mountain. You'll be a mere 9 minute drive and enjoy total seclusion. The space About our Home Our home spans three levels, a main floor that includes the main living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as an oversized year-round sunroom that looks out upon the mountains. Our living area in the main level is open-style so that everyone can be together even when they're in different rooms. There is one full size bedroom on the main floor, that also has a bunk bed; this room is particularly useful for young familes or guests who may not want to traverse stairs during their stay. The lower level has two bedrooms, one is a double bunk bed (sleeps 4) and the other is a single bunk bed room (sleeps 2), as well as a cozy living room with bean bags, floor futon sofa and a smart TV. This room is perfect for large families with lots of kids and gives children a space away from grown-ups, while allowing parents a safe-area where they can decompress. The upstairs includes two queen bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub and shower. The deck is is located off the dining room and includes a Weber bbq grill as well as direct views of Jay Peak mountain. The ‘Northeast Kingdom’ is full of great restaurants and shops, particularly we recommend the town of Newport for a night out. If you're looking for a day off the mountain or if you are visiting for reasons not related to skiing, there is a huge indoor waterpark at the Jay Peak resort that is open 365 days a year to the public and includes four 3-story waterslides, a lazy river, an eternal-wave surf and boogie board pool, as well as indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and loads of kiddie pools and play-features. Additional sites worth visiting during shoulder or summer months include Lake Memphremagog that is so large that it spans the Canadian border and is only a 20 minute drive and Big Falls state park. Great hikes and typically beautiful Vermont views are everywhere in the Northeast Kingdom and the lake is a perfect getaway for swimming or boating.
