Located on the 4th floor (WITHOUT ELEVATOR) of our family restaurant created in 1976, Le Petit Dominicain, you can also enjoy our outdoors in our summer lounge located in our garden. The space Built in 1732 at the foot of the Dominican church (1288) and the convent of the Dominican sisters (131), the Gîtes du Dominicain will surprise you with a raw and authentic interior. You will appreciate the prime location of this apartment with beautiful volumes whose exposed beams make all the charm. Located in a listed perimeter, it is the perfect base for exploring the city of Wissembourg and all its hidden treasures. In the loft of the priory, wake up on the rooftops of Northern Alsace and in the front row to enjoy the dance of the storks. Spend a night under the 300-year-old "cathedral" roof with more than 3-meter-high ceilings. This duplex overlooking the rooftops of the walled city consists of a loft with a boudoir living room, relaxation lounge, bedroom (180 x 200 bed) as well as a small space with a single bed. An extra bed can be provided for a fourth person. In order to best respect the architectural heritage of the house, the 300-year-old floor made of old wagon bottom slats has been completely rebuilt, as have the bull's eyes made to measure by a carpenter and the beautiful frame completely restored and sanded by skilled craftsmen. The bathroom, completely closed and separate, took the liberty of indulging in a few follies: pink tomettes, black faucets, authentic and retro porcelain and earthenware sink, terrazzo floor. Nothing better than a little pep to wake up in the morning. Bathrobes are available. Soap & shower gel as well. The kitchen is fully equipped: induction stove, grill oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Coffee, tea & sugar are available. Salt, pepper, oil & vinegar as well. Sleeping arrangements: In the sleeping area, half open to the living room, you will find a 180 x 200 bed. In the mezzanine area, a single bed (90 x 200) and for a 4th person, a folding bed 90 x 200 can be installed in the living room area. Note that the entrance to the apartment is located on the 4th floor without elevator access. NB: Please note that for a booking for two people, the double bed will be automatically made up. If you still want to have the single bed in the mezzanine, you will be asked for an extra €10. Guest access Access is via the outdoor courtyard. In the absence of the owner, you will have a key box with all the necessary instructions for access. Other things to note Check-in will be from 3pm, check-out at 11am.
