Your private world overlooking the River Severn Featured on BBC's Escape to the Country, the Boat House Lodge is a luxury dog-friendly accommodation where you can truly escape it all. It is rural but not remote, with Shrewsbury only 6 miles away. The beautifully appointed open plan studio has floor to ceiling windows to capture the gorgeous river views and everything in the Lodge has been carefully chosen to make your stay special. Dogs are welcomed and have their own secure garden. The space The Lodge is a beautifully designed open- plan studio where every detail has been considered for your comfort. A super king bed with hotel quality bedding for a blissful nights sleep. Underfloor heating keeps you cosy in winter, air conditioning cool in summer. A fully equipped kitchen with a integrated fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. A Nespresso coffee machine and toaster are also included. A full range of glassware, crockery and cutlery are also included. A large modern bathroom with premium toiletries from an independent Shrewsbury retailer are supplied along with fluffy towels, robes and slippers. GHD straighteners and hairdryer are also included. Comfortable corner sofa, smart TV, Starlink internet. A selection of board games, jigsaws and books for those seeking screen-free relaxation. An enclosed garden and a large patio with table chairs and a gas BBQ is right outside the Lodge. Perfect for alfresco dining. A secure garage beneath the Lodge is ideal for storing, bikes, fishing tackle, paddleboards. There is also a temperature controlled dog shower and towels for those muddy paws. For those who fancy exploring the river, a canoe is available. Guest access The Boat House Lodge is entirely yours for your stay. It is the only holiday property on our grounds, so you won't be sharing spaces with other guests. The host lives on site but does not overlook the Lodge. The Lodge is accessed via an outdoor staircase and is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. In addition to your own enclosed garden there is an extensive lawn next to the river which guests can enjoy. If you're bringing a dog, we ask that they be kept on a lead in this area. Complimentary fishing is also available, this stretch is well known for barbel, chub, bream and roach. The property is gated with secure off road parking. A fob is provided so you can come and go as you please. Dog throws are provided to protect the furniture. Dogs cannot be left in the lodge on their own unless crated. Other things to note Our private residence is adjacent to the Lodge but does not overlook it. We're here is you need us, but we respect your privacy and won't disturb you. Our German Shepard , Breeze lives here. If your bringing your own dog we'll ensure she keeps her distance. Dog Policy Up to two well behaved dogs welcome at no extra charge. Sorry, no puppies Dogs must not be left alone in the Lodge unless crated.
