No.8 is a grade 2 listed newly decorated cottage nestled in the very heart of the market town Shaftesbury, Dorset. A stones throw from Gold Hill (made famous by the 1970s Hovis advert) The space No.8 is a hidden gem that can sleep up to 4 people making it perfect for couples, friends, small families or individual travellers. No.8 boasts a room upstairs holding a king sized bed with shower/bath in the same shared area. The separate toilet downstairs means anyone enjoying a bath won’t be disturbed! If sleeping 3 or 4; the sofa downstairs easily turns into a sofa bed. A cosy living/dining room (with a TV and WiFi) with central heating and a log burner means you shouldn’t ever feel the chill of the UK winters (and summer evenings) whilst you’re unwinding from the day of adventure. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, kettle, fridge, freezer, pots, pans and utensils) means you can choose whether you’d like to make the most of the quaint cottage surroundings or whether you’d like to explore the local area’s cafes, restaurants and pubs. After long days of exploring all of the wonderful things Dorset has to offer, No.8 is the perfect little getaway boasting a sauna in the private back garden to melt the worries away. (Please note: The sauna is set up on a separate electricity supply and uses £1 and £2 coins to run. Guests wanting to use the sauna, will need to bring cash to do so. Instructions on how to use the sauna will be supplied). Guest access Guests will have the entire cottage to themselves for the duration of their stay and can access the cottage with the key safe. Location and access code will be shared with guests 48 hours before your stay.
