Things to know about the surrounding area: The small, idyllic village of Schmißberg is located about 3 km northeast of the district town of Birkenfeld, where you will find numerous shopping opportunities and gastronomies. The hiking trail " In the land of Milan, Storch and Co." starts in Schmißberg. Many dream loops are also easily accessible from here by car in about 10 – 20 minutes.
